Wow! Thank you to the Hollowfest community, artists and volunteers for such an unforgettable festival! See you next year <3
The site for Hollowfest is a large private property that lies about 25 kilometers north of Perth, Ontario. The site lies between two wetland areas on a rise surrounded by forest. The land we use is very beautiful and special. We ask that attendees treat it with reverence and respect.

Hollowfest begins Friday evening and the show goes on until Sunday night. Our programming is weighted to build up to Saturday night and unwind until the fires go out late Sunday night.
A great festival needs great vibes. Hollowfest has cultivated a safe environment that has zero tolerance for harassment or abuse of any kind. Vibe patrol and health & safety personnel will be available on-site at all times.
Hollowfest is a DIY festival run by a team of volunteers who keep everything running smoothly. Want to help? (And save money on your ticket?) Become a volunteer.
Hollowfest happens with the support and participation of countless community members. We ask that volunteers commit to at least one full day shift and while we want everyone to have fun, we ask that volunteers remain present and clear-minded (sober) while they are in their assigned position, whether it be parking, cooking, dishes, trash collection, merch sales or whatever it may be.
VOLUNTEERYou should bring anything you would normally bring when camping, as well as cash to buy food and drinks, plus whatever you think would improve your comfort or enjoyment. Some basics to get you started:
The safety of our community is our highest concern. There will be on-site testing for Covid-19 available to those who request it. All attendees are expected to do their part ahead of the festival by making sure they are virus-free with a negative Covid-19 test within 3 days prior to the event.
Surrounding the main event field are row pines, cool, shady and perfect for tenting. If you prefer, you can sleep in your vehicle or bring a camping trailer.
In mid-September the days are usually nice and warm. The nights can get chilly so bring a good sleeping bag and appropriate clothes. A sleeping pad is great for preserving body warmth. If you have the space, it never hurts to bring a blanket. Remember to check the weather prior to the event.
Hollowest is a BYOB event. Please bring cans instead of glass.
There will be food and coffee vendors on site but we encourage you to pack meals and snacks for yourself.
Hollowest is a cash-only event. There will be merch, food and crafts available for sale.
There is no electricity on site. We power everything with generators and batteries. There is a well on site but we recommend you bring your own fresh water to get you through the weekend.
We have multiple outhouses built on site. There are no showers on site, but fear not, campers! Bring your swimsuit, for just down the road is the most beautiful swimming hole in Lanark County. If you must, please bring biodegradable soaps.
Please leave your doggos at home for the weekend. Through much soul searching we’ve decided Hollowfest is not a safe and practical environment for dogs and a hassle for staff and volunteers.
